Oide Park (Oide Suspension Bridge)
This is a place representing the scenery of Hakuba. Himekawa's clear stream, thatched roof private houses, the mountains of Hakuba are magnificently rising behind them. It has elements that could be said "the original scenery of Japan", and it is popular for photography and sketching. You can have a picnic on the lawn space. A tea house is also located in the park.

Located at an altitude of 1,200 m, which can be visited by a car or a lift, the Kitaone Kogen is a scenic spot overlooking the magnificent Northern Alps and the mountains of Hakuba. They also hold tours such as Morgen Road Sunrise Tour (August-November) and Galaxy Highland Tour. After the astronomical show, you can see ever-changing gradation of color in the sky and the gorgeous scenery of rising sun.

Happoike Pond at an altitude of 2060m. A scenic spot where you can go in half a day. The hiking course to Happoike Pond which Hakuba Sanzan is reflected on the water surface is dotted with spots that overlook the 11 peaks of 100 famous mountains in Japan. On clear air day, you can also view Mt. Fuji from No.1 Cairn. Many flora and fauna, such as precious alpine plants and natural monuments such as the Japanese serow and grouse, are inhabited.

Himekawa Genryu Nature Garden
There is the Himekawa headstream across the Koujin Forest located on the north side of the Oyomi Wetlands. The Himekawa River, as spring water around here becomes headstream, flows 58 km in parallel with Route 148, and pours into the Sea of Japan from the river mouth of Itoigawa city in Niigata Prefecture. It is rare in the country that the origin of a big river can be seen along a national road.

Aoni village was selected as an Important Preservation Districts for Historic Buildings in 2000. Houses with thatched roofs and dozo(storehouses) nestle up to one another, and 200 terraced rice fields built by ishigaki (stone wall) has been selected as one of the "hundred beautiful scenes of terraced rice fields in Japan", the overall townscape conveys the historic mountain village landscape to now-a-days. Park at specified place and stroll the village.

Hakuba Ski Jump Stadium
At the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, the stadium was in the spotlight and widely recognized not only in Japan but also worldwide. Can go up to the starting point 140m above the ground with a lift which in between Normal Hill and Large Hill. There is also an Olympic Gallery on the mezzanine floor of the Start Tower.

From the outdoor hot springs, you can enjoy the view of Hakuba Sanzan (three mountains of Hakuba) stand against the ridge line. It is a hot spring on the way to Hakuba Daisekkei, and closest to the hotspring source, so it can be expected to have an anti-aging effect as a natural hydrogen spring.
